The firm said the appointment of the graduates, who will take up entry-level positions in the company’s Edinburgh office over the next 12 months, follows an extensive recruitment campaign with Scottish universities to ensure that some of the best talent stays in Scotland.
Accenture employs about 200 people across Scotland, which includes a four-fold increase in its Edinburgh-based workforce over the past 10 years.
The new graduate recruits in Edinburgh will embark on a comprehensive training programme designed to equip them with the skills required to thrive in the digital economy. They will work with the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain, as part of digital transformation projects for clients.
As Accenture continues to build its position in Scotland as a provider of technology services, the company continues to recruit employees at all levels in Edinburgh and Glasgow for the regional expansion of its UK Advanced Technology Centre in Newcastle.
The aim is to support clients by harnessing local talent and bringing in new skills and expertise through a flexible workforce model.
The company has also established a technology experience zone in its new Edinburgh office at Atria One, in the heart of the capital’s financial district, where it will showcase the latest technology innovations for clients across the financial services, energy and telecoms industries.
